The reporting officer was notified of a possible slaying on Lake Herman Rd. Sheriff's Deputies, Coroner Dan Horan and the Benicia Police Department are standing by at the scene. 

SEE CAPATAIN PITTA'S REPORT:

Upon my arrival, Horan and Capt. Pitta advised one of the victims, Faraday, was enroute to the Vallejo General Hospital by Ambulance. The second victim BETTY LOU JENSEN had succumbed and was awaiting transfer to Colonial Chapels.

Lt. Little photographed the crime scene. Charts and measurements were recorded. .22 caliber shell casings were recovered at scene, and their recovery positions were recorded on charts. 

A search was made for a weapon and none was found, ruling out a possible murder and suicide. The ground was frozen solid under a reported 22 degree temperature. There were no visible fresh tire tracks, leaving the scene. 

12/21/68 1:04 AM to Vallejo Ggeneral Hospital, information was attained that the victim FARADAY was DOA. 12/21/68 1:38 AM- To Colonial Chapels. Information was obtained from coroner Dan Horan that the victim JENSEN had five (5) bullet holes on the right side of her back. Three (3) emerging from the front of her body.
