7-7-69 11:00 AM 

Note received from Capt. BIRD stating "Mrs. Peggy XXX, phone 745-XXXX has information regarding a Bob that matches the description of the responsible in the Blue Rock Park case. She knows the subject. Mrs. Your lives in a pink house on the frontage road. One mile north of the Lake Herman Road between Benicia and Cordelia".

7-7-69 3:35 PM 
Mr. Arthur J. FERRIN and Mildred FERRIN 930 XXX St. phone 644-XXXX came to the station and report that shortly after (?) AM on 7-5-69 their telephone rang and the party on the other end of the line said nothing but they could hear deep breathing and they are sure that some one was there.

Questioned Mr and Mrs FERRIN but they could add nothing to assist in the investigation. 

4:15 PM Went to 1300 Virginia St. and contacted Arthur Dean FERRIN phone 643-XXXX. Questioned Dean regarding "George" and he states the he only met George once. States that he formerly owned a 1951 Ford 1/2 ton pickup faded red in color. He decided to sell this truck and his wife mentioned it to George and he purchased the truck. When George came to the house to purchase the truck his wife introduced him to George. Describes George 5'8", stocky build, dark complex. Mexican appearance. Was employed as a bartender but lost his job. Dean states that Darlene worked varied shifts and he has been employed on the night shift at Caesar's  Palace. Dean states that on occasions George has given his wife rides to work but he has no reason to suspect that his wife was involved with George.

7-8-69 11:40 AMStephen Craig MAGEAU 19 years dob 10-29-49 present address 832 South Palos Verde, mothers address 2117 Grenedier Drive both Los Angeles, Calif. Presently staying at 864 Beechwood Vallejo.

Stephen states that he did not know George personally but had many conversations with Michael and Darlene concerning George. George was constantly bothering Darlene and had followed her many times. She was deathly afraid of him but was friendly towards him in an effort to keep him at a distance. On one occaision he walked into her apartment at 560 Wallace Street and told her that he was either going to rape her or get into bed with her one way or another. Darlene had told Micheal about this incident and then Micheal told Stephen. Darlene also told Micheal that she had talked George out of causing any trouble and after some time he left the apartment. Stephen lived in Los Angeles from February to the 1st of June. He returned to Vallejo and stayed approximately 3 weeks and then returned to Los Angeles. States that he is not too familiar with what has happened lately.

Darlene often went to Blue Rock Springs with boyfriends at night. It was common knowledge amongst her friends that this was her favorite place.

4 PM Went to the Elks Cub and contacted Myra XXX, Office manager. She states that George W. worked there on several occassions. There were special functions when extra bartenders were needed. He was never steadily employed. On his job application form when he applied for work he listed C.S. XXX SR., father, phone 237-XXX. Clayton Richard XXXX, Pinole and Wilbur XXXX 23rd St Richmond Bar Manager. Mrs. XXXXX describes George as 5' 8", average build, dark hair, well groomed.
