RO: DET./SGT. LUNDBLAD

Frequently used parking area for lovers on Lake Herman Road approximately 5-miles east of the City of Vallejo. Located at gate #10 leading out from Lake Herman Pumping Station.

There is a 1960 Rambler, 4-door Station Wagon, California license #CTL-962, registered to parents of Victim #2, parked facing South, 53 feet from the telephone pole next Gate #10. The motor is luke warm. The right front door is wide open. The remaining three doors and the tail gate are locked. The right rear window is smashed. There is a hole in the window that appears to have been caused by gun shot. There is a hole in the opposite side panel that appears to have been made by a small caliber gun shot. There is an expended .22 casing on the right floor board of the car. There are nine other expended .22 casings on the ground, to the right at distances of 20', 4', 8'2", 4 1/2', 2'3", 2', 1'11", 1 1/2" and 3'.

Victim #1 was lying face down , 28' 6" West of rear bumper of Rambler, in a pool of blood that appeared to have emerged from her mouth nose. There is a trail of blood leading from the car to the body. Her dress was blood stained on the right back and by her left breast. There was no sign of breath or pulse. She was pronounced dead at the scene by Dr. Byron Sanford of Benicia, Calif and was fully clothed. No sign of molestation.

Victim #2 was lying face up ------------------- back of his skull. -------------------------------- He was fully clothed and a shirt collar was blood stained. There were slight sings of breathing. He was transferred to the Vallejo General Hospital by A-1 Ambulance. He was announced DOA by Dr. Siebert.

There was no sign of a struggle. The ground and gravel area were solid 22 degree temperature. There was no visible tracks at scene. There was no evidence of liquor or narcotics. 

Eight shots of the ten fired are accounted for. Five (5) were in Victim #1 in remarkable close pattern. One (1) in Victim #2's head, behind left ear. One (1) in top of Rambler and one (1) through rear window of Rambler.
