7-5-69, 2AM. RO was detailed by Lt. Allbritton to the scene of the 187 at Blue Rock Springs parking lot to take photographs, search crime scene and dust for finger prints. Took photographs of the victims car, both interior and exterior shots taken. Did not dust for prints as it was decided to bring the vehicle to the VPD garage and have same done there. Search area for any evidence with negative results. Waited for tow truck and followed same to VPD. Took 9 pictures of Auto.
7-5-69, 3:45 AM. Was detailed along with Sgt. Lynch to Twin Chapels to take photographs of victim Darlene E. Ferrin. At Twin Chapels took six pictures of Darlene E. Ferrin.
7-5-69, 4:45 AM Was about to print victims vehicle when LT Allbritton stated RO could do this when returning to work at 8 AM. (SPARKS)
7-5-69, 8 AM. Dusted victims vehicle in the VPD garage. Lifted two partial prints from the door handle on right side of vehicle. These tagged and placed in evidence. Also removed two slugs from vehicle. One from the left hand door. And one from the back of the front seat on drivers side. These tagged and placed in evidence locker. (SPARKS)
