Stated left Angwin with two other girls Joann ---- and Linda ---- at approx 2:15 pm 9-27-69 drove through Pope Valley to Lake Berryessa where they stopped 2 miles north of the A + W (Sugar Loaf Park). Suspect pulled into the parking area from the south west past their vehicle then backed up so their rear bumpers were nearly touching.
Suspect vehicle described as 1966-67 light blue Chevrolet with Calif. plates. Witness believes the vehicle was a 2-door and described the headlights as being long rather than round - the rear glass was tinted quite dark.
Another vehicle from Angwin with Arizona plates was in the parking area and W. saw the occupants Denise and Wayne at the beach. W's went to the beach and shortly thereafter noticed suspect watching them from the edge of the trees. After about 30 minutes the suspect came down by the beach and passed within 20 feet of W. as he walked from south to north.
Suspect desc as approx 28 yrs 6' - 6' 2" 200 - 225 black hair possibly styles with part on left, rounded eyes, thin lips, med nose, straight eyebrows, small ears, well built, nice looking, wearing black short sleeve sweat shirt bunched in front + T-shirt hanging out in back, dark trousers.
W. left area about 4:20 + the veh. was gone. The drove south to Hgw 128 snd back to Angwin.
